Synopsis
When petty criminal Luke Jackson is condemned to two years in a Florida prison farm, he refuses to follow the rules of the yard’s resident heavy, Dragline, who finds up appreciating the new guy’s unyielding resolve. Luke’s confidence, even in the face of repeated periods in the prison’s infamous solitary confinement cell, “the box,” makes him a rebel hero among his fellow inmates and a thorn in the side of the prison authorities.
