Synopsis
Terry Malloy fantasizes of being a prize boxer while looking to his pigeons and conducting errands for Johnny Friendly, the crooked dockers union head. Terry sees a murder committed by two of Johnny’s thugs and subsequently meets the dead man’s sister, who blames him for his death. She brings him to Father Barry, who tries to force him to produce information for the dock racketeers’ tribunals.
